Hi there. This website is a writing project by Josh Schmelzle about Wi-Fi (802.11) and related technology. The name wizardfi is a portmanteau of wizard from the wizarding world and Wi-Fi brand.

The project was initially inspired and motivated by the Clear To Send, CWNP, and WLAN Pros communities, along with former colleagues Jake, Mark, and Ryan. Thanks y’all.
